IndiaFirst Life Insurance was launched in 2010, by the President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. It is the youngest life insurance company in India, with its headquartered located in Mumbai. IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company is a joint venture between two of India's public sector bank, Bank of Baroda and Andhra Bank and UK's financial and investment company Legal & General. The company provides various insurance products including Term Plans, Investment Plans - ULIPS, Savings Plans, Investment Plans, Microinsurance Plans. Currently the company has presence in 1,000 cities across India and 8,000 branches spread all across the country.
